Bloggers Speak Out

I'm certain by now that most anybody who reads nail blogs has seen the article from Nails Magazine about bloggers, and the fauxpology that was printed after bloggers spoke up about it. I was rather shocked in general, and couldn't really formulate a response. However, there are 9 bloggers out there (that I found) who did, and far more eloquently than I ever could. I think it's important that we consider what they've said, and realize that bloggers and professionals can certainly coexist side by side.

I Hate My Skin!

Fair warning right now, if you are grossed out by things easily, then you should just stop reading right now. Because I'm pissy about my skin, and I'm going to put pictures of how yucky it looks in this post. Yes, there is also blood. So you should absolutely not go further into this post if that kinda thing will bother you.

How Not To Bring Your Dog With You!

I was happily driving along, heading out to pick up some pet supplies when I noticed something in the back of the truck in front of me. Now, people that know me, know that I do dog transports most weekends, and often have several dogs in the Jeep with me (I was scheduled for three little dogs that could ride in the truck on Saturday, but it turned out they didn't need me so, saved gas, I guess). What I may not have mentioned is that dogs in vehicles should either be secure in a crate, or tethered, for their safety as well as others'. Well, this poor dog was not only not tethered, but wasn't wearing a collar either.
