And today, we're at the final stage of my ten blues for Wackita. I still miss that Siamese meow of hers, and the little curled ear. Sure, other cats snuggle with us, and are wonderful, but none is going to be Wackita. We wouldn't want them to be, each is special all on their own.

We recently lost our first kitty to cancer, and after some recovery time from the grieving, I thought I'd honor her with ten days of blues. Today I'm going to show you days one and two. Wackita was such a character, and so much fun to have in our lives.

Big Ole Transport - Jack

Now, you might be wondering why Jack gets his own post from this transport. Well, I want to honor him, because he touched my heart so much. We don't always get to find out what happens to dogs after they leave our care and continue on their journeys, but we were in touch with Jack's rescuer.

Goodbye is so hard to say.

I haven't been around the last couple of days, because on Monday, the decision was made to euthanize Jessie. It was a very hard decision, and it hurts a lot. However, the combination of events leading up to it made it important to go ahead.

A sad introduction... but one I feel I should include.

We're just over halfway to meeting all of the critters, and I feel I should do this now. This post is in honor of pets we've loved and lost. We hope they are frolicking happily at the Rainbow Bridge.
