So, things around here have been so totally insane, and I've dropped off the face of the blogging community for a while, but I think it's pretty much blown over. That means that I've got a backlog of pictures to share, and plenty of fresh fun ideas, plus a few new polishes (not nearly as many as I wish, but hey, that's pretty much anytime, right?). Over on my other blog I'm in the process of sharing more of what's going on, so if you're morbidly curious about it, you can read more there. Here, I'm going to stick more to nail polish. SO let's jump right in and see something pretty!
I have to start with SOPI Hell To The No. I saw this in our Sephora, AND it was on sale, so it was totally meant to be. I'm not a Glee fan, but this polish rocks, and I love the name, seeing as how I've been saying Hell To The No for like, ten years.
It's a gorgeous purple, and applied very well.
It has an awesome shimmer to it that I struggled a bit to get good pictures of. As you can see, my nails were pretty short at that moment.
This is my second SOPI polish, and I suppose I might eventually buy more. I've been sticking to way cheaper polishes lately, so when I have the budget, that's when it will happen.
Next up, Catrice Sold Out Forever, which I never thought I'd have, so I'm thrilled with it.
I did a piss-poor job of applying it, but the polish isn't to blame for that.
I was Kind of experimenting to see how long I could wear it as well. Dings and all, I left it alone for a WEEK! That's practically unheard of for me. Hee.
I wish I could have caught the shimmer in there better, I'll probably have to wear this another time and get better pictures.
So, how did it look after a week? Like this.
I covered up the tipwear that was really bad with a thin french line. I do apologize for the crap quality of this mani, but I'm all for showing my flaws right along with the good stuff. After all, I didn't pop out of the womb able to do perfect manicures, so there's no shame in it.
Okay, I'll leave it at those two for tonight, and see if I can't get a Pink Wednesday in tomorrow - more like later today since it's 5am. For now, I'm off to bed.
