I'm On The Edge!

Or rather, the Edge (of Glory) is on me! Yes, I broke down and bought the Lippmann Edge of Glory set, for half price. Even so it's still a lot to spend on polishes, but I think it was well worth it. Let's just get right to the polish!

Ooh It's Ice Cream Day!

Also, it's Day Two of the Challenge! Oh, and Violin Day. I'm just all sorts of the random tonight. Muahahaha! So, yeah, the whole Challenge thing. That's what I was talking about. Anyway, today is ORANGE! And I was lucky enough to happen to have a much-coveted (for me) orange in Lippmann Lara's Theme. But I was trying to be all inspired or something, so I added a little extra. I'm so so excited to share this news with you! I'm so hyped up that I had to run right over and post, even though I was actually busy playing with the dogs now that it's cooled down enough to be outside for more than 3 minutes without suffering from heat stroke. And yes, I play with the dogs outside at night the most. In the dark. Cuz that's how I roll. So anyway, check this out, how can you NOT be way impressed at this award?

Holiday Manis Over The 4th!

So I wore a few days' worth of Independence Day manis, and collected them all to show at once. And it's even fairly close to the holiday! Shocker, right? I just kind of set out a couple each of reds, whites, and blues, and used those over and over. I didn't want to take up a lot of time choosing polishes, there was fun to be had! The polishes I used at one point or another are these: Eyeko Cosmic, Ruby Kisses Regaled Out Blue, Sinful Snow Me White, Sally Girl mini white with no name, SH Reddy To Mingle, Lippmann My Old Flame, NYC Foiled Again, SH Diamond Prism, Icing Epic Winning, Ruby Kisses Blinged Out, Claire's I<3 USA, and Pure Ice Jet Setter, Show Stopper and Flash. The plain old glitter was some dollar store purchase. So there you have it, the colors I wore for a few days in a row. Now let's get to the pictures, after all, what fun is talking about them if you can't see them?

Quick Post With Pics!

We're busy busy busy, so I'm just going to hop in with a real fast post and show a few more manis while I have some time to take a breather. I currently have a wacked out totally obnoxious red white and blue mani on, which is probably going to be changed tonight for something not quite so insane. Hee. I pretty much took every kind of idea I had and slapped them on all my fingers, just for kicks. Of course, then I proceeded to muck them up almost immediately. Haha. Anyhow, let's take a peek at the pretty colors.

More June Manicures.

I'm still catching up with pictures from June, which just happens to be my birthday month.  So these are the pictures up to and including my birthday. My birthday dinner this year was pizza, so that nobody would have to cook. What can I say? I'm easy. Wait, that doesn't sound right. Well, anyway, let's get on to the pictures.

Happy Father's Day to all Dads!

We tried to spoil The Mate a bit for his birthday, and I think we managed to do okay. I grilled out a BUNCH of ribs, and we had potato and macaroni salad to go with it. And I even turned the remote over to him. Okay, he gave it back, but still, at least I offered. And after he spoiled me for my birthday, I woulda given him the remote for the week. So I've got some random pictures for this post (including one of my toes, so be warned), and then I have transport and polish pictures to share as well.

Let's start looking at newer nail pictures.

I've said a few times that I'd like to catch up so I'm showing off current manicures, so I'm going to start with this year's pictures until I catch up with myself. I'm only driving one transport this weekend, but I might be keeping a few dogs overnight on their trip, we'll see what happens. My Mother's Day will be wonderful, I'll relax most of the day, then take some Grayson kitties up to rescue. So, let's take a peek at my first several manicures of 2010.

Glitter, Sparkle, Twinkle.

Today I shall share with you some pictures of glittery nail polishes. If I were forced to only choose one finish of polish, it would almost certainly be glitter. Preferably holographic glitter, but hey, I can go with glitter as a whole and be happy. I seem to be of a mind that the more bling, the better, at least when it comes to nail polish. I'm up late because I have 3 extra dogs for the night, and I have to take them to the next person transporting in about 4 hours or so. They are going from Tennessee to Canada, where their breed is in higher demand. Two Cattle Dogs and one Australian Shepherd on top of my own four makes for an interesting evening. I was planning not to even let them sniff noses (more to keep the rescue dogs safe than mine), but these poor girls were upset at being locked away in a smaller room, so I crated my unpredictable rough dog, gated my room off, and now they are all laying right next to me while my two oldest dogs kick back in the hall, and the puppy tries to get them to play (she jumps the gate, so I gave up and let her be in here). I've gotten lots of extra puppy kisses tonight, that's for sure.  But let's get to the pictures of nail polish.
