More Fun With Tape

I got on a bit of a tape mani kick, so I did another one, this time using a yellow base. Let's just get right to it, I have a bajillion things to do today. Hee.

Partly Pink

We all know what day it is, so I probably don't need to tell you that On Wednesdays We Wear Pink. But, in case you've forgotten, feel free to click the graphic and go find out about it. So why did I title this 'Partly Pink'? Well, it's another splatter mani, so it's only got a little pink in it, but I'm counting it anyway. Mostly because I don't happen to have worn just pink recently. I have SO many colors I love, and pink sometimes get forgotten about a little bit. Anyway, let's get to the pictures and go from there.

Mystery Monday

Well, I obviously went with skipping Sunday Swatches, but I'm back today. I've got several manis that I simply cannot remember which polishes they are, so I thought I'd do a bit of a picture dump with them for you to see. Then tomorrow I can get back on track with regular manis which I've kept better track of. Hee. Let's see what we've got.

Pink Skittles?

Okay, so no, not all of my nails are pink today, but since I did skittles, and at least ONE nail is pink, I figured this would qualify for the Wednesday Pink post. Right?

I sure hope so. Because really, I don't wear pink on my fingers as often as I could, because there are SO MANY other colors I want to wear as well. Maybe if I had about ten hands I could get that many more pictures of pink polish. Hee. Anyway, let's go see the pictures.

Beautiful Barielles

So today I have three Barielle polishes to share with you. Do Unto Others, Soul-er Powered, and Positive ZEN-energy, which are three very nice colors. I'm not going to be too chatty, this is a busy weekend and all, as I've said before. Maybe I'll give you a good recap in the next couple days, if I'm not too wiped out from all the fun. Hee! Help Me Out Ok?

Okay, so this week I was playing around with polish, and I got to thinking, maybe those of you who read could give me advice on the best way to swatch! I mean, I know what I like to see, but what about you? I have to say, my favorite swatches are those done by Crystal over at Valentine Kisses (Like, click here to see one of her nail polish swatch posts - SO AWESOME!). She also has a couple of giveaways, so you should go enter those before they end on the 31st and next month on the 14th, I think. Anyway, thing is, I'm not sure I can DO such a great job, I'm kinda limited on how much time I have (no really, it must take her HOURS to do those!!!), and I'm not that great with the camera. So I thought I'd show you the two methods I'm most likely to use, and ask you to tell me which you like better.

Almost Skipped Today's Post!

Since I'm all thinking about Jack and what's going on there, and what I can possibly do to help, I thought about passing over the challenge post, but I figured I'd go ahead and post it. It's Becoming A Pattern!

Well, more like I was inspired by a pattern, but who's keeping track of that kinda crap? Not me, that's for sure. So anyway, I was thinking that it would be nice to do something that I love, and I love stained glass. So I chose to be inspired by this pattern:

Sixteen Tons

Now, who among you starting thinking, "You load sixteen tons, and what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt."? If you did, then, you're welcome. Hee. So anyway, here we are at day 16 of the challenge, and it's the tribal print. I saw a picture on Tumblr that I thought was a good tribal print, and so I kind of tried to copy it. Not so sure I did a great job, but it was fun to try. Let's see how it turned out.

Lions And Tigers And Bears... Oh, Just Tigers.

So, I chose to go with tiger stripes for my animal print challenge day. It's day 13, and it's also National Chocolate Day and National Egg Nog Day. I can get behind those! Heck, I can combine them and have chocolate egg nog! And if I drink enough of it, I'll have some realllllllly interesting posts. Muahaha. Nah, I really don't drink that much, and I doubt I'll have more than a cup anyway. So let's take a peek at the nails, and then we can all get back to holiday celebrations!

Somewhere Over The Rainbow!

Oooh, rainbow nails, I love them. We're up to day 9 of the challenge, and it's time for a rainbow! I've done rainbows before, which I loved, but this time I did it differently. Let's see how it turned out!

Time For Day Three!

So we're on day 3 here, and it just happens to be one of my favorite number AND my favorite nail polish color. How cool is that? Probably not very, but I'm easily entertained. Now that I've gotten through the pat few months of mega-cruddiness, it's nice to be looking forward to things more. Sure, there's still yucky stuff going on and going to happen, but there's good too, and I'm trying to focus on those good things. So, while I'm looking at the bright side, let's see this bright polish!

Playing Catch Up!

Well, because I was gone so long, not only do I have a backlog of posts I need to make, but I have a whole bunch of pictures to edit as well. As luck would have it, I was also too busy for daily nails, so it won't take me as long. I think I'll just jump right in.

I'm so so excited to share this news with you! I'm so hyped up that I had to run right over and post, even though I was actually busy playing with the dogs now that it's cooled down enough to be outside for more than 3 minutes without suffering from heat stroke. And yes, I play with the dogs outside at night the most. In the dark. Cuz that's how I roll. So anyway, check this out, how can you NOT be way impressed at this award?

Of Marbles and Mattes.

Whoo, I'm up early. Just can't sleep, I guess. Whatever. I have a billion things to do, so I'm going to sit on my butt and post. Hahaha. So I figured I'd show off some marbly and matte manis (man, I love alliteration!) this morning. Let's just get right to it, I'm not too chatty until I've had my first coffee or ten.

Oh Look! New Stuff!

Yes, I've added a new header. But I didn't just go with the one voted for, I created a lightly updated, newer one from there, and used a totally new font and everything. And over there on the side, I slapped in a little slideshow. Eh, I dunno, that might be too much, we shall see. While we're talking about new things, I've also written up an intro to our newest dog, another husky, and posted it over on my other blog. So feel free to go over there and learn about Juno!

Today I've just got a couple of manicures to share, because I should have been asleep a few hours ago. I'm just too wired up with excitement! In one week, I pick up my kids in Wisconsin!! I wish I could make the time go faster until they get here, and then slow way down. We are going to have lots of fun this summer. Anyway, let's get to the polish, ok?

I Was Getting Artsy!

I love the gradient type of manicures, and so I had to try that yet again. I also discovered some nail art on DeviantArt, and thought it would be fun to try some of those out, so these next few manis are definitely nail art as opposed to just plain colors. I'm rather proud of them.

I Need Polish!

I am having trouble sleeping (so what's new about that? nothing), and figured I could look at some pretty pictures to help. I already posted the first of my TSO pictures on my other blog, and at this rate, I might catch up with myself over here. I'm having a bit of a rough week, as Missy will be euthanized next Wednesday. I posted more about it on the other blog, so I won't rehash it here. That, and I don't want to be depressing everywhere. And of course, things could always be worse. Anyway, why don't we look at some pretty pictures?
