Nail Art Contest!

The leaves are turning, the temperatures are dropping, and it's nearly that time of year again. First up, I want to share with you the news! Real Quick - Revlon Spice It Up!

As I mentioned yesterday, it's the Oldest's birthday today, and he's in town, so we get to celebrate. That means I'll be skipping tomorrow's Sunday Swatches as well, since we hope to be out on the Perch Boat with Oldest and living it up on the lake.

I'd also like to share with you something I wish I'd have read earlier in the week! Anyway, today's color is Revlon Spice It Up, and it's a nice autumn type color. Gee, I've said so many times how I don't follow the seasons, and here I'm all about the autumn lately, right? Well, to be honest, these are all a month or two old, because I'm still playing catch-up. But it works out okay either way. Let's take a look, shall we?

So my giveaway is closed, and I'll have to get the drawing done, but I'll do it during the day tomorrow. I'm just going to post up a couple polishes for now to make up for missing the last couple days. I have a pretty good excuse though, I was getting a colonoscopy. Ewwwwww. Well, it wasn't the worst thing ever, and nothing terrible showed on it, so that works, I guess. But enough about my butt, that's not what you're looking for. Saturday Shatterday!

Wow, so I'm sort of starting to get back into the swing of things around here. Still, I'd rather have the kids here all the time and never have online time if it were a choice. So anyway, I saved a couple of my Black Shatter NOTDs to share with you today, I think I'll make Shatterday kind of it's own day, like once or twice a month. I'm so totally NOT over the whole crackle thing, so if you are, you can feel free to skip these posts.

Ooof! It's been a week already? Wow, I've just been sooo busy around here. First, there was the big trip. Then, I had to recover from the trip. As much fun as it was, it's tough to drive 18+ hours in less than two days. But so totally worth it! And this week the kids and I have been having a total blast, which will continue through the whole six weeks.

So, while I have a chance to kick back for a few minutes, I thought I'd post a whole bunch of manis for you to enjoy! This is another pic heavy post. The kids helped me choose some of the colors, which I like, because I get overloaded and can't decide sometimes. I need about 6 more hands so that I can just wear everything I want. Hahaha. Anyhoo, let's see what we have today!

Which CULT did I join? The one full of adoring fans of Cult Nails polish. So yeah, if you haven't heard about it, this is a quality polish that you will want to check out. I got my hands on their second collection (bought them as soon as I could), and this post is all about them. So instead of babbling for fourteen paragraphs, I'll get right into the pictures.

Whoa, Hi There!

I am alive! I really didn't mean to leave this poor blog so alone, but we seem to have caught one of those horribly nasty colds, and between that and the Jeep being down for the count, I just haven't been able to sit at the computer for long. Let's put it this way, there were several days that I didn't even touch my nails, let alone do a full mani, and that's just unheard of for me. So, now that I'm getting better, it's time to play catchup. Let's get right to it, and see what I did for my 'week' of OPI!

Finishing Up With The Frankens

Okay, here are the rest of the frankens I've made so far. A nice even dozen. Hee. And don't forget, new transport post going up on the other blog. I'll stop pimping it out eventually. Maybe. We got massive snow last night, like 8 inches or more. I'm going to have to shovel it, but I don't mind that much. We might call a snow plow to do the driveway though. It's $20 well spent, since it would take me quite a while to do it, and make me sore. Anyway, let's get to the polish since that's what I originally set this up for.

One More Picture Post Before Bed.

Okay, I'm a little wired up, so I'll make one more post, then I'm crawling into bed with my Kindle and reading until I do get tired. I'm up to over a thousand books on that thing, so it'll keep me occupied for a while. The best part? Almost all of the books I've gotten have been free, because they are in the public domain, or were offered up for free for a limited time. The rest have all cost under $7, with most being in the $1-2 range. And I'll admit I'm hooked on the games that Amazon has too, though I've only got the free ones. I may spring for more later. But anyway, this is polish now. I'm rambly too. Go figure. So, click and check out some more November NOTDs.
