Today's polish falls into one of my favorite color groups, as it's a gold polish! It's also one of my favorite finishes, because it's glitteriffic! So rather than blather on about it like a bozo, let's just jump right in and look at it!

I've got a gorgeous blue for you today, and I chose to accent it with silver crackle. I'm all sorts of busy this week, as The Mate's birthday is Friday, and I'm gearing up to try to make it nice and special, even with a very small budget. So, let's take a peek at the polish.

I got on a bit of a tape mani kick, so I did another one, this time using a yellow base. Let's just get right to it, I have a bajillion things to do today. Hee.

Nail Art Contest!

The leaves are turning, the temperatures are dropping, and it's nearly that time of year again. First up, I want to share with you the news! Khloe Had A Million Sparkles

Today I've got a pretty fun mani that I really enjoyed putting on and wearing. I used two Nicole polishes for this, and it's a tape mani. I have to say, I'm kinda proud of how nicely this one turned out. Let's get right to it.

Holidaze... 4th of July in September!

I know, I know, it's way late, but I'm still playing a lot of catch-up from being gone so long. So anyway, over the 4th of July, I didn't have as much time to do a lot of celebratory manis, but I did manage one that I loved.  Let's see how it turned out!

Hmm, New Feature Idea?

I'm thinking of doing a new thing on Fridays, and calling it Friday Flashback. I'll dig in my OLD picture files (old being relative, as I'm only talking 2-4 years ago), and post up a few. Many of them will look pretty crappy, since I had no talent back then, and my clean-up was pretty atrocious at times. But hey, it just shows how far I've come with all that practice, right? So, today is going to be my first Friday Flashback, and I'll share a few comparisons of dark colors.

Yeah, I know, I've really been slacking off lately. I will try to do better, but no promises. Mostly because summer is always busier, plus we've been dealing with so much different stuff around here. Nicole, Why Are You Shaped So Oddly?

Warning: this post is going to be rambly, kinda soul-baring, and likely a bit depressing. Please feel free to skip the words and just look at the pretty (I hope) pictures. After my week of OPI, I kept sort of along the same lines, and went with Nicole polishes. This was the week leading up to VD (uh, hopefully you know I mean Valentine's Day - though VD is about as welcome to me as that holiday haha). Not that I don't love the idea of chocolate (heck, the after holiday sales ROCK), or being loving and caring towards my partner; I just feel that should be happening EVERY day, not just once a year. Hmm, maybe I'll stop rambling and get to the pictures.
