Flashback!

This is going to be a short post, since I don't have a ton of pictures. That's because I wasn't as insane about polish back in the day. Riiiight. So I've got a bunch of pink and red comparisons to share with you. And I'd better hurry, I've got chores to get done! Here we go!

Bright and Shiny!

Today's polish falls into one of my favorite color groups, as it's a gold polish! It's also one of my favorite finishes, because it's glitteriffic! So rather than blather on about it like a bozo, let's just jump right in and look at it!

Kissy Face

As you may know, we have two dogs, and one of them is a Beagle mix named Krissie. We often use the nickname Kissy, or Kissy Face, or Kissy Kiss, or other variations on that theme. So when I saw today's polish, I HAD to pick it up, there was no way I could leave it there. Shall we see what it looks like?

Thursday Twofer

Today I have two absolutely beautiful Pure Ice polishes to show you. I really like the Pure Ice brand, I find the quality is pretty decent, especially for the price. And they have some really beautiful colors. I'd love to see them extend their line even further, but I'll take what I can get, and be happy about it. Hee. Let's take a peek, shall we?

Pardon My French Scream

Instead of focusing on the anniversary that so many are remembering today (and I certainly am too), I'm going to focus on some pretty pretty nail polish. First though, I'd like to let you know that The Mate's surgery went well, and he's a little sore but otherwise okay. We expect his recovery to be pretty fast and easy. Such a relief to have that over with. Anyway, polish is the focus here, so let's just bounce right on into the pictures.

Holiday Manis Over The 4th!

So I wore a few days' worth of Independence Day manis, and collected them all to show at once. And it's even fairly close to the holiday! Shocker, right? I just kind of set out a couple each of reds, whites, and blues, and used those over and over. I didn't want to take up a lot of time choosing polishes, there was fun to be had! The polishes I used at one point or another are these: Eyeko Cosmic, Ruby Kisses Regaled Out Blue, Sinful Snow Me White, Sally Girl mini white with no name, SH Reddy To Mingle, Lippmann My Old Flame, NYC Foiled Again, SH Diamond Prism, Icing Epic Winning, Ruby Kisses Blinged Out, Claire's I<3 USA, and Pure Ice Jet Setter, Show Stopper and Flash. The plain old glitter was some dollar store purchase. So there you have it, the colors I wore for a few days in a row. Now let's get to the pictures, after all, what fun is talking about them if you can't see them?

Some Giveaways, and Some Pics!

Okay, no pictures of the giveaways, just some fast links, since I tweeted about these earlier. I don't wanna overload with just giveaway stuff. So take a peek at these, and enter if you're interested! And enjoy these pictures.

Not Enough Sleep. More Blues.

So, I got like 3 hours of sleep, and I'm up and running. It's a good thing I don't have some really important job where I need to be fully alert. Once my doc is back from vacation, I should get my blood work results, and maybe we can figure out why I can't sleep, but am tired all the time. And I really really hope things work out and he'll prescribe the Enbrel for me. I think that's part of the problem, my skin ALWAYS itches and/or hurts. But let's look at polish.

Orange rhymes with... well, nothing.

Orange you glad I'm sharing these? *cackles* Sorry, I think I'm getting a little too wired up. Let's take a look at the oranges I got swatched.

Peeeenk!

Pink is my second go-to color for my toes. Again, though, I don't tend to choose it as much for my tips. It's not that I don't like it, I just gravitate towards the other colors first. Let's see what we've got.

More greeeeen!

Yum, sandwich. And some raspberries. I love raspberries so much. If I ever manage to get our back yard redone, I'm going to put in raspberry bushes. But this post is for polish again. So let's get to them.

A Little Catch-Up

It's been a whole week since I posted anything at all. So I thought I'd throw some nail polish pictures up here while I upload the transport pictures I have. Between keeping the dogs apart to avoid damage (not going as well as expected), trying to do spring cleaning (also not going as well as expected), and my body and skin not cooperating... I'm just keeping my head above water. But, all in all, I'd still say my life is pretty good. And last night I did my toes in Cherry Pop, and my nails in Lemon Drops. So let's take a peek at the first half of April after the jump.

Keep On March-ing.

Ahaha, I'm so punny. Okay, not really, but I'm over tired and I get a bit on the silly side then. So here is the rest of the March manicures. Then I'm going to go run the dogs for a bit and get moving so I'm on time for my transport. I mention that a lot, I guess because it's on my mind. I really do enjoy it a lot, and it's a really fulfilling thing when we do hear about an animal that we've helped finding itself in a great home. In fact, I just got some pictures recently of one of the cats we helped transport, and he is getting spoiled silly. I'm so happy he is living the high life now. Anyway, let's get to the polish.

The rest of February.

Now we'll take a peek at the latter part of February, and then we'll get moving into March. Let's get right to them.

The Blues (on my nails)

Blue is one of my top three colors for my nails, so today I'm sharing some of my blue manicures with you.

Onions have layers!

But this post is not about onions. It's about nail polish. I love layering different colors for different effects, and that's what I'm going to share with you today. So without further ado, these are some layering combinations.
