Holidays Are Busy!

Time just flies right on by, doesn't it? You'd think that having just the two of us for the holidays would mean I'd have a lot more time to laze around and do blog posts, but that has not been the case this year. Well, some of that is because we had to replace our toilet (talk about excitement, haha) and catch up on some other stuff around here, and some is because we were just caught up in the fun of watching holiday movies all cuddled up together.

I have been working on editing pictures of the holiday manis I did, but today I'll be sharing a couple more Cult Nails polishes, as those are ready to show off. Two gorgeous colors, as they always are. Here's a peek.

In other news, well, there isn't really much news. We're still trying to work on some remodeling around here, but that's pretty slow going, and the rest is pretty much all the same stuff, so I won't bore you with excruciating detail on that. Let's just look at the polish, okay?

Oh, Hi There!

I'm back, and I have late Halloween pictures to share. Just my nails, not like costumes or anything. Heheh. Anyway, I only did a couple of Halloween manicures, because of everything going on lately around here. Nothing big, just been busy and so on. So, while I'm sitting here watching the election results, I thought I'd get this post in. Let's jump in and take a peek. that Obama has spoken, maybe I can try to get some sleep.

Are We Crackled Out Yet?

No. No, we are not. At least I'm not. Today I've got Nicole Orna-Ment For Each Other topped with Gold Texture to share with you. And then I'm taking a few days off for The Mate's birthday, so I'll be busy, busy, busy! Let's take a peek at the pictures.

My Kingdom For A Title!

Er, well, since I have no kingdom, I suppose it would be more like, "My nonexistent dream of a kingdom for a title!" But yeah, I couldn't think of anything really creative or whatnot, so you're stuck with that one. Well, *I* am stuck with that one. You can probably block it out with a little post-it note over the monitor or something. Wow, I think I've been too long without sleep, and it's affecting me quite a bit. So why don't we see what I put on my nails, and I'll try to rein in my inane ramblings.

I Love Red Jelly

Not only do I love jelly in general (like, for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!), but I love me some nail polish in a jelly finish, and today I have a red one to share with you. I was just kinda hemming and hawing over what nail polish to use, so I asked my BFF, and she said dark red, and this polish practically jumped out of my box at me. It's a brand called Fresh Paint, and the color is called Delicious. Let's take a peek.

Friday Flashback

Well, since I shared my 4th of July manicure from this summer with you yesterday, what better time to do a Friday Flashback of past 4th of July manis? I've only got a couple pics on hand, but hey, that's okay. It's FRIDAY and the weekend is near, and it's time to go out and DO something, even if it's wrong. Not wrong as in illegal or immoral, but whatever. *giggles* Let's take a peek.

Holidaze... 4th of July in September!

I know, I know, it's way late, but I'm still playing a lot of catch-up from being gone so long. So anyway, over the 4th of July, I didn't have as much time to do a lot of celebratory manis, but I did manage one that I loved.  Let's see how it turned out!

A Sandwich On Saturday

No, I'm not going to show you pictures of some sandwich that I ate... but I do have a sandwich of sorts for you. As you may know, a sandwich in the nail polish world is when you apply a layer of a jelly polish, then a layer of glitter, and follow up with another layer of the jelly, thus "sandwiching" the glitter between the layers of jelly. Being as I love me some glitter, of course you must know that I'm all sorts of happy with this kinda of mani. So, let us go and see what my sandwich is made of!

A Neutral and A Red

So my giveaway is closed, and I'll have to get the drawing done, but I'll do it during the day tomorrow. I'm just going to post up a couple polishes for now to make up for missing the last couple days. I have a pretty good excuse though, I was getting a colonoscopy. Ewwwwww. Well, it wasn't the worst thing ever, and nothing terrible showed on it, so that works, I guess. But enough about my butt, that's not what you're looking for. I'ma Fling Some Glitter!

I'm kinda having a crap day, so I thought I'd go get those holiday manicures and show them off, because that should help lift my spirits. I mean, how can thinking about what a great holiday we had be anything BUT good? So if you'd like to peek at a couple more NOTDs with Xmas colors etc, this is the place to do it!

Wave Your Flag!

Whoooo! We're up to day 28, and today's mani is one inspired by a flag. I've done American flags a few time, so I didn't want to go with that. I've seen plenty of British flags, and some others, and I kinda didn't want to do those. Finally I settled one one that I thought would be fun, and pretty, and that means something to me. I decided to go with the Czech Republic's flag. It's a clean and simple design. We're using some Czech commands for our dog. I have Czech ancestors in my bloodline. Seems like three is enough, right? Almost Skipped Today's Post!

Since I'm all thinking about Jack and what's going on there, and what I can possibly do to help, I thought about passing over the challenge post, but I figured I'd go ahead and post it. So tonight I'm posting the mani inspired by a song. Hopefully we are safely home by now, although the weather reports were a bit scary, so we shall see. Anyway, I scheduled this just in case, so that I wouldn't miss out on a challenge post. I've only barely missed the deadline once, otherwise I've been getting these done every night. Pretty cool! If you read nail blogs regularly, then you're almost certain to have seen this challenge floating around out there.
